A brother to us all

 "Go jer."

That's his moto. Despite whatever that has happened, he stayed hopeful.

He is that supportive brother, husband and father. The strength he put out to allow us to keep moving, to keep striving. The hadrahs, the smiles, the encouragements, the small gestures.

I didn't understand it then when he made small conversations with me. I know now he was checking in, partly to see if I needed a helping hand, and partly to gesture that I could rely on him for anything.

I wonder if he got the support he has always provided for others.

Because I realize, he had moments where he doubted himself. As he grew to be better each day, through his speech, his demeanors, his widened knowledge, I hope he knew we are proud of him.

He never doubted us though. Not once. In whatever challenges we were placed in, he saw the potential in us and the possibilities we didn't see back then. He saw us.

Memories are fleeting. This fateful day, 30 April 2026, has brought all memories with him, on playbacks. And I will forever cherish them, brother, till we meet again, together, where space and time becomes limitless, where together forever holds its truest meaning, in the presence of Sayyidinan Nabi Sollallahu alaihi wasallam.

Ameen Ya Rabbal Alameen.
